My practices as a researcher, translator, educator, and artist continuously return to the imbrications of state power, race, language, and memory.
Translation projects include sample translations as well as complete manuscripts (poetry + prose), curatorial texts, subtitles, and children’s + YA fiction. Clients include Moderna Museet, The Whitney Museum of Modern Art, Malmö Konstmuseum, Lunds Konsthall, Koja Agency, Bonnier Rights, and Göteborgs Stadsteater.
Recent projects include the English translation of Burcu Sahin’s Embroideries (Litmus Press, 2024) and the Swedish translation of Hardly War by award-winning poet and translator Don Mee Choi (20TAL, 2023). Forthcoming translations include a Swedish co-translation (with Andjeas Ejiksson) of Phantom Pain Wings, by Kim Hyesoon (via Don Mee Choi’s English translation), as well as an English translation of Hjortronlandet, Sara Lidman’s groundbreaking modernist novel from 1955.
I am currently a doctoral candidate in artistic research at HDK-Valand Academy of Art & Design at the University of Gothenburg. My dissertation project deploys translation as writing apparatus, pedagogical scaffold, and strategy for solidarity.
RECENT PUBLICATIONS
